This 2019-20 school year is off to a great start! I can't wait to get to know each and every student!
Georgia Parent Survey
Parents, each year The Georgia Parent Survey is administered to get your feedback on the school’s climate. Your input and feedback are needed to help us enhance our services. You may complete the survey using your personal computer, smartphones or tablet. If you do not have access to the Internet, please visit our Parent Resource room to use the computers. All parents are encouraged to participate in the Georgia Parent Survey because the data will be used as part of the calculation of the School Climate Star Rating. Survey responses are anonymous and will be submitted directly to the Georgia Department of Education for analysis. Individual data results from the Georgia Parent Survey will not be available to the public and will not be posted online. Thank you for taking the time to participate.

Summer Meet & Greet – Tuesday, July 30 5:30 – 7PM
This is a transitional school year for the student and the parent. No longer is the student one of 20. Now they are one of 120! Students will become independent, self-managing, and in charge of their own learning! Parents will have to allow students to make mistakes and learn from the mistakes.
"Failure is the key to success;
Each mistake teaches us something." Morihei Ueshiba
The expectation is for all students to be prepared, dressed appropriately, self-directing, and not to interfere with the learning of others. Please check back often for class current events, other notifications and news.
Thank you. Mrs. Coleman
Remember:
The first day, Last day, and every day in between will be a great day at LSGA!
Looking forward to an exciting and rewarding school year!
FoodFinderGA is a free smartphone app developed by a Georgia public school graduate. It is available on the Apple App Store or Google Play right now (search: foodfinderga)
The app creates a 100% anonymous, direct connection between students who need food with their closest free food provider.
Both the FoodFinderGA app and the website - www.foodfinderga.org - are year-round resources, but data shows a dramatic increase in use when school is out of session, and the need for food is greatest.
Parents. Here is an Amazon list for back to school.

The science text book is available online at
