Good Saturday,
I know it is Spring Break (YAY!), but I just want everyone to know that these past 3 weeks have been enlightening and a tremendous growth experience for me. I had meaningful communication with parents with whom I had little contact before, heartfelt conversations about the meaning of "education" with colleagues, the privileged to be associated with students who are taking this challenge, running with it, and making the best of each day.
I just want to thank you all for allowing me to be a part of your educational experience and your lives. As we move forward for the rest of the academic school year, I pledge to you to do my best, to continue learning and growing, and to provide the resources you and your students need to succeed.
Make the best use of this time. Consider this momentary interruption in our daily routines to be a growth experience. Appreciate this opportunity to be the parent and reconnect with your children. Realize that this change is affecting all of us and have patience and understanding. I believe things happen for a reason, and maybe we need this time to slow down and appreciate what we have.
So enjoy your spring break.
Sincerely,
Professor Coleman M.ED.LT
